G'day dA world! Hope you have all been well and keeping busy! I'm turning 30 in a few weeks but I don't know if I should happy or not. Its a big milestone for me (I've made it this far). Kinda nervous bout it. Its not everyday you turn 30.

My mum is going to pay for me to get inked which is awesome. Have always wanted to get inked and I have finally convinced her to share my views on it. I'm not one to get ink to rebel or as a fashion thing, so its good that I have her blessing. Some thing small that I can expand on later.

Speaking of ink, I showed a friend of mine a sketch of a tattoo design I did and he's dead set on getting it tattooed on himself!. My first reaction was whoa, hold on, are you sure!? I was really flattered that someone thought my art was good enough to have it permanently inked onto his skin.

Art school has been awesome. My teachers all seem to think that I have talent and I just need a bit of time to reach my full potential. They seem to think I might have a future in design work. hmm who knows! hah. I start on free hand portraits really soon in airbrushing. Also been experimenting with a lot of acrylic paint. Colour mixing and painting landscapes. Its really interesting.

Everything is still rather bleak on the romance front but I'm in a good space at the moment with other aspects of life. I hope this art thing takes me somewhere. I spent my life just cruising so far time to knuckle down and make something happen I think.
